Her family described Ann as a high energy person whose friends and neighbors have called their activity director. They say she was active in her church and community and was recognized as an advocate for children with autism. The couple had two middle-school aged children together.

"This has been a very hard week," said Mark Hellmann, Senior Pastor at Grace Lutheran Church in Andover. "The family, the school and this church will make sure these two children know they are not alone."

Pastor Hellmann says Ann was a committed church member who alway gave of her time and cared for other. The funeral for Ann Blake will be held Grace Lutheran.

Meanwhile, an investigation by Maple Grove police is ongoing.  They are determining if drug or alcohol played a role in the accident.

The Blake Children's Fund has been set up in care of Grace Lutheran Church, 13655 Round Lake Boulevard Northwest, Andover, MN 55304-3659.
