EDINA, Minn. - Authorities are hoping that an extremely clear surveillance photos and the promise of a reward will help identify a suspect wanted in an Edina crime spree.
Investigators say the man in the photos is involved in multiple overnight burglaries and thefts from autos that began in mid-June and continued into early August near the Hopkins border in northwest Edina.
Most of the burglaries did not involve force to gain entry, meaning the property was left unlocked.
The suspect is described as African American, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 150 to 160-pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He is believed to be in his 20s.
The Edina Crime Prevention Fund is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information about the identification and location of the suspect.
