Gene Kelly's widow shares stories from 'Hello, Dolly!'

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- Biographer, film historian and widow of entertainment icon Gene Kelly, Patricia Ward Kelly, joined us via satellite on Tuesday to discuss Gene's direction of the 1969 classic film musical "Hello, Dolly!"

Based on the successful Broadway production and starring Barbra Streisand, Walther Matthau, and future "Phantom" Michael Crawford, the romantic musical comedy copped 7 Academy Award nominations and netted three Oscars for art direction, sound mixing and musical score.

Amid numerous tributes and accolades during this, Gene Kelly's centennial year, Patricia Ward Kelly is also completing a
book on her late husband and their life together.

"Hello, Dolly!" is available now on Blu-ray.
