GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn - For the third year in a row Bachman's invites visitors to get inspired by the Fall Ideas House. Each season, Bachman's designers transform the home by repainting, refurnishing and redecorating the house with a signature mix of new trend items, repurposed pieces and a touch of vintage.
Themes by Room
In addition to its overall design, the house's many rooms showcase unique themes with dozens of creative ideas, big and small. Here's a sneak peak at what Bachman's designers are planning for the 2012 Fall Ideas House.
Porch: Set up for a beer tasting party, the porch is full to the brim with beer-inspired décor including a vintage German beer table with benches, an ornate beer bottle chandelier, and bottle cap curtain accents.
Dining Room: With a table set for a six-person casual dinner to enjoy the final CSA harvest, this room features layered textures, modern dried stem arrangements, and a rich blend of muted fall colors.
Living Room & Sunroom: These casual gathering spots are relaxing rooms with natural textures displayed in a updated, modern style.
Kitchen: Bold, graphic posies make a bold statement in the kitchen, oneverything from the dinnerware to the wall art.
Master Bedroom: Using repurposed door panels to create an oversized headboardwith built-in drawers, this dramatic bedroom creates a modern loft look in an 19th century home.
Nursery: For the expectant newborn, this gender-neutral nursery features Etsy-inspired DIY touches that are adorable yet contemporary.
Office: This funky office space makes work fun, with bright colors, bold patterns, creative storage solutions and functional artwork.
VIP Dog Room: This room has gone to the dogs, but in a good way! Designed for a pair of pampered pups, this room features doggy-inspired furniture and décor with hounds tooth accents. They even have their own balcony dog park!
