GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - The summer travel season is upon us and that means many of us will be hitting the road.
Before heading out there are some things you should be doing to make sure it's a safe ride.

According to studies, only 17 percent of Americans properly check their tire pressure -- increasing their risk for accidents and inflating their gas bills.
The Rubber Manufacturers Association says drivers can save 11 cents per gallon at the pump and help their tires last longer with simple monthly maintenance.
