GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - As temperatures continue to cool down, many of us will be reaching for something hot to warm us up ... And for some, that will means a hot cup of tea.
And no one does it better than the Chinese where tea time is a ritual worth savoring.
Many of these rituals can be experienced at Minneapolis Chinese-style teahouse called Verdant Tea.
David Duckler Verdant Tea's founder and Chef Nate Uri joined us on KARE News@4 today to serve up some exciting tea time options.
Verdant Tea, on Franklin Avenue in the Seward neighborhood of Minneapolis, is a Chinese-style tea house offering single-source Chinese brewed and loose-leaf teas, house-brewed chai.
The tea house is open Sunday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. For more, call (612) 223-8907, visit minneapolis.verdanttea.com and like us on Facebook.
