GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- Kowalski's opened their first market on Grand Avenue in St. Paul in 1983...30 years later, that number has grown to 9 stores in 5 Twin Cities Communities.
Kowalski's is celebrating this milestone with its first ever cookbook. Culinary Director Rachael Perron joined us on KARE News@4 to serve up a taste.
A limited number of copies of The Kowalski's 30th Anniversary Cookbook, Kowalski's first published recipe collection, will also be available starting October 12th.
The Kowalski's 30th Anniversary Cookbook is a 470-page collection of more than 300 of Kowalski's best recipes, including several never-before-published but often-requested recipes like Kowalski's Coffee Cake (a la Mary Anne's), Thai Peanut Chicken Pasta Salad and Krispy Kale and Craisin Salad, and 64 pages of full color photos.
In honor of the 30th anniversary, books will be 30% off during the event and for the week following it.
