GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Some families in North Oaks are rolling out the welcome mat for Children's hospitals and clinics of Minnesota.
Pam Kellenberger from the North Oaks Children's Hospital Guild joined KARE 11 News @4 on Tuesday for a preview.
North Oaks Guild I continues the long-standing tradition of hosting the Holiday Home Tour and Boutique each November.
This year's theme is Home for the Holidays, features three spectacular homes decorated for the holiday season by local florists, designers, decorators and landscapers. Each donates their time and talent to this event and contributes a percentage of their profits to CHA.
Guests are bused to the homes from the North Oaks Golf Club where they can also enjoy a fabulous boutique displaying many unique items from local artisans.
Each year the tour raises between $25,000 and $32,000 with 100 percent of the proceeds donated to Children's Hospital Association. Since its inception in 1962, North Oaks Guild I has contributed more than $800,000.
The annual Home Tour and Boutique event will be held Friday, Nov. 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 23, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Tickets for the Home Tour can be purchased at the event which will be held at North Oaks Golf Club, 54 East Oaks Rd., North Oaks, or you can purchase the tickets online at www.northoakschaguild1.org.
