GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Congressman Jim Ramstad joined KARE 11 News at 4 to share his memories of President Kennedy on the eve of the 50th anniversary of the President's assassination.
In 1963, Ramstad was one of many high school students who attended Boy's Nation, a gathering of civic service minded youth, in Washington D.C.
Ramstad has two iconic photos of being in the background as Kennedy met with the students. You might also notice another familiar politician, Bill Clinton, who also attended Boy's Nation that year.
