GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn -- The Alzheimer's Association Young Champions is a diverse group of emerging leaders who are dedicated to changing the face of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias by engaging our peers and raising awareness across generations. Their vision is a world without Alzheimer's.
They are excited to bring a new event to the Twin Cities! Blondes v Brunettes Blondes is a volunteer-driven event that brings young professionals together to support the Alzheimer's Association. The event is organized around a flag football game in which the two participating teams are divided based on the age-old rivalry between blondes and brunettes. The game will take place on Saturday, October 12 at Hamline.
The Alzheimer's Association's Young Champions are also hosting the upcoming The Afterthought Party, which takes place the evening of the Alzheimer's Association's annual Remembering Our Stars Gala on Saturday, April 13. The Afterthought is a fun event for young professionals and Alzheimer's Association supporters. The party features music, entertainment and dancing in a celebratory atmosphere at the historic Depot in downtown Minneapolis.
