BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- The 14th annual Juvenile Arthritis March will take place today, Saturday March 2nd, at the Mall of America in Bloomington.
More than 2,000 people will join in the efforts to raise awareness and funds to fight this disease that affects more than 300,000 children. Juvenile arthritis destroys joints, bones, and muscles limiting physical movement for those with the disease.
Participants will march through the Mall of America early Saturday morning while enjoying several activities along the way including kid's zone, face painting, coloring, interactive health fair, and more. The day will be completed with a post celebration with prizes and awards.
The walk begins at 8:15 a.m., with a pre-walk program and warm up exercise beforehand, and will conclude around 9 a.m. with a ceremony and awards to follow.
