ST. PAUL, Minn. -- There's a new restaurant in St. Paul's Frogtown neighborhood serving up great food and changing lives.
The Daily Diner is an urban American diner that is helping to meet the goal of the Union Gospel Mission by providing self-sufficiency for those in need. Open seven days a week the diner will be serving up traditional American favorites incorporating local ingredients with ethnic flavors.
The Union Gospel Mission alongside area hospitality industry experts offers practical, on-the-job training to those on the road to recovery, teaching such skill as customer service all the way up to management.
Located at 615 University Avenue in St. Paul the Daily Diner will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. For more information and to see their menu check out their website.
