Paul Bunyan returns to the Minneapolis stage

MINNEAPOLIS --  The classic Minnesota story of Paul Bunyan and his big blue ox are returning to the Minneapolis stage this weekend.

"Paul Bunyan and the Legend of the Year with Two Winters" will take the stage at the University of Minnesota's Ted Mann Concert Hall Saturday at 8 p.m. The performance features larger-than-life Paul Bunyan, voiced by Don Shelby. Joining him on stage will be ballad singer Pop Wagner, the VocalEssence Chorus and Ensemble Singer, and a 41-piece orchestra conducted by VocalEssence artistic director Philip Brunelle.

Ticket prices start at $20 and may be purchased at Ted Mann Concert Hall.
