ST. PAUL, Minn. -- St. Paul student Louie McGee, 13, will be hosting the 2nd Annual Dining in the Dark on Thursday September 12th.

The 'eye-opening' experience is designed to raise awareness and funds for blindness research. The event will take place at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria of McGee's school, Highland Catholic, on Thursday.

Participants will get a light-blocking mask to give them a unique glimpse into the lives of the visually impaired. Other games and activities will also take place at the event.

Cost is $10 for local students. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Foundation Fighting Blindness.
