Ross Sveback, a Twin Cities cake maker and lifestyle expert stopped by the KARE studios to offer great decorating tips and holiday treat ideas!
Pecan Pumpkin Butter:
1 can pumpkin puree
1/2 cup apple juice/ or cider
1 cup brown sugar
Cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, and fresh grated nutmeg to taste
Combine all ingredients and simmer for an hour and a half. Then add the juice of a lemon, and half a cup of Makers Mark and simmer for another half hour.
Finish by mixing in ground toasted pecans.
