Plymouth, Minn. --  Employees at Hazelden Plymouth, a rehab and recovery center, will be participating in a fundraising event to raise money for Youth Patient Aid this October.

Tim Helmeke, John Fischbach, and Mike Welte will be running in the Twin Cities Marathon on October 7th and have hopes to raise $10,000 to help ensure chemical dependency treatment is available to those in need. The money raised will be donated to the Evan Keating Endowed Fund for Youth Patient Aid; established in honor of a friend and former staff member.

Hazelden offers a variety of programs including substance abuse treatment and alcohol rehab, recovery support services, professional education, addiction research, prevention resources, addiction awareness and public policy advocacy, and more.
