Project for Pride in Living works to empower individuals and families with the skills they need to become self-reliant.

Part of that effort is a literacy program aimed at children and adults.  Volunteers are needed to give one or two nights a week for 2-4 hours to work with adults and children to build English and reading skills, also to help with schoolwork and be part of play groups aimed at pre-schoolers who are gaining the skills they need to learn to read.

Project for Pride in Living has locations in Saint Paul, Minneapolis and New Hope.  Training is provided.

For more information call 612-455-5108, email lauren.bohen@ppl-inc.org, or visit Project for Pride in Living.
