SHAKOPEE, Minn. -- Jackson Elementary School hosts Xavier's Run to End Duchenne to support young Xavier, a fifth grade boy with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
This is a 5K run that will benefit both Xavier's family and Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy in the research being done to find a cure for this deases which is currently the most common fatal genetic disorder diagnosed in childhood.
All kids participating in the 5k and 1 mile runs will receive a dri-fit shirt with a logo designed by Xavier and his classmates.
