Run with a Purpose 5K to support Headwaters Relief Organization on July 27

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn.-Headwaters Relief Organization hosts their annual Run with a Purpose 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, July 27th at Elm Creek Park Reserve in Maple Grove. The race beings at 8:30 a.m.

Headwaters Relief is an organization that supports children and families in need when disaster strikes. Headwaters Relief was founded by Dr. Rebecca Thomley, one of this year's Eleven Who Care Honorees.  

Funds raised at this 5K run/walk may help feed children at an orphanage in Haiti, provide mental health services to survivors of Hurricane Sandy and support relief efforts to Minnesotans and others in the US after flooding, tornadoes and other disasters.
