Wilde Roast Cafe and Red Ribbon Ride are teaming up to bring panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt to Minneapolis for the first time in two years.
More than 48,000 3X6 foot panels have been created since 1987 to commemorate those who have died in the AIDS pandemic.
The display in Minneapolis will bring 16 12X12 foot panels to the main floor of Riverplace, 65 Main St. SE, Minneapolis November 28th through December 2nd.
Donations to Red Ribbon Ride will be accepted. Now in its 11th year, Red Ribbon Ride has raised more than $10 million for local organizations serving people living with HIV/AIDS.
