Breezy Summer Cocktails from the Blue Plate Restaurant Company

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn.--  Alyssa Pipp from the Blue Plate Restaurant Company stopped by the Showcase kitchen today to talk about some of the great summer cocktails on their menus.

Pineapple Orange Mango White Sangria

1 bottle pinot grigio 
1 cup simple syrup
1 cup pineapple chunks
1.5 cups mango sliced
1 orange cut in half and sliced thinly
sgueeze half orange
3/4 cup grand marnier
6 oz pineapple orange juice

Mix into a 64 oz glass pitcher and chill over night. Serve over rocks.  Add splash of soda and garnish with fruit and/or mint leaves.

Old Fashioned Blackberry Lemonade

2 cups blackberry syrup
1 1/4 -1 1/2 cup of fresh squeezed lemon juice (about 8 large lemons)
6 cups of water cold

Mix into pitcher.  Thinly slice a lemon and add 8 blackberries into pitcher for garnish.  Chill and or serve over rocks.  It is also great with vodka!
