Pham's Deli Vietnamese Egg Rolls
Inside Ingredients
• 2 lbs ground chicken
• 1 white onion (finely chopped)
• 3 carrots (grated)
• 1/4 average sized cabbage (finely chopped)
• Approximately 4 ounces vermicelli noodles (soaked in warm water and drained dry)
• 2 tablespoons salt
• 1 tablespoon white pepper
• 1 tablespoon garlic powder
• 2 tablespoons fish sauce

Flour Paste Ingredients
• 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
• 2 tablespoons water

Package of Spring Roll Shells


1. Combine all inside ingredients in a large bowl
2. Lay out spring roll shells with a corner pointed toward you. Place about a 1/4 to 1/3 cup of inside mixture on the shell and fold corner up over the mixture. Fold left and right corners toward the center and continue to roll. Brush a bit of the flour paste on the final corner to help seal the roll.
3. Place egg rolls into deep fryer, set at 325 degrees, for 8 minutes. Remove from deep fryer and drain on paper towels or rack.
