The Sunrise crew shares their Thanksgiving recipes

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- Everyone has a special dish they love on Thanksgiving day.  KARE 11's Sunrise team is no exception.

We shared just a few of the foods we'll be indulging in this year.  Sven brought out the tofurkey he eats every year.  As a vegetarian, turkey is not his thing.  We're happy to report, the tofurkey was delicious. His came from Whole Foods.  Sven says you can buy them at a variety of local grocers.

Tim shared his favorite after Thanksgiving snack, a turkey sandwich.  Simple recipe -- butter both sides of the bread, take some leftover turkey, stuffing, jellied cranberry, and enjoy.

Kim offered up her easy, fresh cranberry relish.  Take a bag of fresh cranberries, a half cup of white sugar, half cup of brown sugar, 1-2 oranges, a couple of shakes of cinnamon and throw it all in a food processor and blend.   If you want a little more exotic flavor, add some freshly grated ginger.  Serve chilled.
