BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - Like the game itself putting together a winning bracket is one part skill and one part luck.
KARE 11 caught up with Kevin Gust at Life Time in Bloomington during a noon open court. Not only does Kevin fill out brackets he wins them too. His trick?
"I think I just got lucky," he said.
For those of us who aren't lucky, old tricks include picking teams based solely on seed or team colors or by how attractive players are, can be options.
But Shawn Gust warns people not to fill out a bracket based on emotion.
"Definitely not whoever is cutest. But I'll look at the statistics and watch ESPN and things on Bracketology and then kind of try to make my decisions that way," Shawn said.
