MINNEAPOLIS - One person is dead after a Tuesday afternoon shooting in north Minneapolis.
Minneapolis police said the shooting occurred at about 3:20 p.m. in the 1000 block of Humboldt Avenue North.
Police were called to the scene after a 911 caller said that a man was shot and lying in the street.
Police said the man was found with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim's identity and his exact cause of death will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office.
At this time there are no suspects in custody, but the public is not considered to be at risk, police said.
