MINNEAPOLIS - If our stories do truly start the instant we enter the world, a baby born in Minneapolis Monday has a doozy.
MnDOT cameras zoomed in on a car pulled to the side of I-35W near 36th street shortly after 10 a.m. as a man waved his arms frantically to wave down a state trooper. Inside the car was a pregnant woman in labor.
By the time a trooper arrived and managed to pull over the baby had already been delivered. An ambulance from Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) was called to transport mother and child to the hospital.
A hospital official confirms that both mother and child are doing just fine. Both will have quite a story to tell about delivery day.
