NORTHLAND TOWNSHIP, Minn. - Two juveniles are hospitalized, one of them with critical injuries, after the ATV they were riding on rolled in northeastern Minnesota Wednesday.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Department says the girls were on the ATV riding a gravel road in Northland Township around 4:15 p.m. when the driver lost control, causing the recreational vehicle to roll into the ditch and flip.
Both juveniles were thrown from the machine. One was airlifted to St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, where she is listed in critical condition. The second youth was taken by ambulance to St. Luke's hospital, where she is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
