ST. PAUL, Minn. - St. Paul police are looking for the public's help in identifying the owner of a vehicle that damaged light rail tracks currently under construction.
Police said that sometime during the night of April 25-26, a Toyota Camry drove over tracks on an unfinished route at 4th Street and Sibley Street.
Damage is estimated at least $1,000, but could end up totaling tens of thousands of dollars, police said.
It's believed that the car was damaged when it drove over the tracks, forcing it to be towed. The tow occurred at about 3 a.m. on the morning of April 26, police said.
Anyone with information about the identity of the Camry's driver is asked to contact the St. Paul Police Department at 651-291-1111.
