MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Minnesota State Climatology Office has a website devoted to detailing the state's tornado history.

Tornadoes are among the most devastating and awesome local storms that occur, powerful enough to lift railroad cars and sail them yards away.

The power makes the research into the storms so much more important. Below are links to some of the facts and statistics of tornadoes here in Minnesota.
