MINNEAPOLIS - A 4-year-old child and two adults were wounded after gunshots rang out in north Minneapolis late Tuesday night.
Squads were dispatched on reports of gunfire at about 9:40 p.m. in the 3600 block of Penn Ave. N.
The preliminary investigation showed that one victim was standing outside a truck parked outside an apartment complex, and a second adult victim and the 4-year-old were sitting inside when a suspect walked up, began arguing with them and opened fire.
Two male victims and the child were taken to North Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said that a suspect was spotted leaving the area on foot. Early reports are that he may know the victims.
At this point there is no one in custody.
