GLENCOE, Minn. - Two teens are recovering from injuries suffered when the car they were in struck a horse late Thursday.
Authorities responded to a report of a crash on Highway 22 near Glencoe just before 11:30 p.m. When first responders arrived they found 17-year-old Marissa Owen and 18-year-old suffering from non-life threatening injures after their Pontiac G-5 ran into the horse.
Witnesses say the animal ran out of the ditch and Owen, the driver of the vehicle, couldn't avoid it.
