NEW HOPE, Minn. - A New Hope man is stranded at home after someone stole his electric scooter.
On Friday, Mack Lee, 64, who suffered a stroke three years ago, stopped for lunch at the "Aliveness Project" on East 38th Street in Minneapolis.
He was feeling good enough to walk so he left his scooter outside of the building, but when he came back, the scooter was gone.
"I feel really sad, really bad because I got nowhere to go," Lee said. "Without a scooter, I have no way to get around."
Lee says whoever took the scooter won't be able to use it for long because it needs to be charged every night.
Anyone with information about the scooter is asked to call Minneapolis police.
