MINNEAPOLIS - A pedestrian killed in a crash Thursday night in Minneapolis at Olson Memorial Highway and James Avenue North has been identified.

Manuel Steeber, 37, of East Grand Forks, died of multiple blunt force injuries.

Police say Steeber was in a wheelchair at about 9:30 p.m. when he was struck by a driver.

A witness told KARE 11 that the man on the wheelchair was swerving in and out of traffic almost like he was on a "death wish."

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's office ruled the cause of death as an accident.

Minneapolis police continue to investigate the incident.
