COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. - The deadly shooting attack in Kenya is personally affecting three high school students at Saint John's Prep School in Collegeville.
School administrators confirm two sisters from Kenya and another female student from Ghana have family or friends that are victims in the Kenyan attack.
"It is very difficult especially for teenagers being so far from home," said the school's principal Matt Reichert. "When one suffers, we all suffer."
The school held a prayer service Monday to lift up the classmates affected.
"They are doing okay," said Reichart. "They are staying in touch with family through Skype and still learning more about what happened."
The student body at St. Johns Prep represents 18 countries. One-third of the students live on campus.
