EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - The Minnesota State Patrol has changed its version of events that led to a fatal crash on Highway 212 in Eden Prairie Friday morning.
One person was killed in the crash, which took place near the ramp from Eden Prairie Road.
Originally the patrol reported that a westbound Jeep driven by a 26-year-old man from Eden Prairie crossed the median and struck a Chevy Malibu headed eastbound. The driver of that vehicle, a 62-year old Eden Prairie man, was killed in the crash.
The other driver suffered serious injuries.
On Monday, State Patrol spokesman Lt. Eric Roeske tweeted that investigators had changed their findings. He wrote:
