MINNEAPOLIS - At St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Minneapolis on Sunday, services were focused on remembering two young lives and praying for those still fighting for theirs.
"I've been praying since I heard the news," said church member Theresa Caine. "I've been praying morning, noon, and night for these kids."
Father John Mitchell says the church is wrapping their arms around the grieving families.
Five-year old Zenavia Rennie passed away on Thursday and 6-year old Zarihana Rennie remains in critical condition. Both children were regular attendees at St. Andrews Church.
"We continue to pray for the three children in the hospital," says Father Mitchell. "The two other lives left us two early."
There remains positive news for 1-year old Aliyana and 5-year old Amani Guerrido. Both are reacting and responding to conversation.
"You heard some cries today because people are grieving," said Father Mitchell. "This is very hard."
The following funds are set up to support the families involved.
