A very blurry cell phone image of jumping into the pit

We started gymnastics classes for our daughter when she was just 18 month old. That is the youngest they can be to start classes at the gym we attend. I knew she would love jumping and climbing around, but what I didn't count on was all the other stuff that comes with being a toddler.
She would often have meltdowns and would always want to do something besides what the class was doing. I honestly did not enjoy the classes with her after a while.
Fast forward to my now 2 1/2-year-old girl... we just finished the spring session of our gymnastics class and I cannot believe what a difference a year makes. She is now able to listen to the coach (most of the time), and she seems to be enjoying it more.
How do I know she's enjoying it? I can't even tell her we're going to class until it's time to go or she will literally run out the door! I have never seen her so excited about anything like this before!
Yesterday, I got to see her jump into the foam pit, which is something she refused to do for a long time, and it was just awesome to see! She still enjoys the jumping and climbing but it's different now... she's doing everything with more purpose and just loves it.
I don't regret having her start the class when she was younger, though. I guess she just wasn't ready for it all back then. After seeing her yesterday, I know for sure we made the right move to take a break from it all and sign her back up when she was older.
