BRAINERD, Minn. -- A 15-year old Crow Wing County boy is in custody after being arrested for allegedly pulling the trigger in a fatal shooting Thursday.
Sheriff's deputies were called to a residence in the town of Riverton just after 9 p.m. There, deputies and officers from the Crosby police department found a 57-year-old man dead of a gunshot wound.
After investigating, deputies took the 15-year-old into custody. The name of the victim is being witheld until family can be notified.
A spokesman for the Crow Wing County sheriff's department would not comment on the relationship between the victim and the alleged shooter.
Charges against the teen are pending.
