Minnesota motorcyclist killed in Wisconsin

ELLSWORTH, Wis. - A Princeton, Minn. man was killed Sunday after his motorcycle rear-ended another motorcycle, police say.

According to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, Ronald J. Bauman, 51, was riding in Trenton Township, Wis. Sunday afternoon when his 2001 Harley Davidson struck another motorcycle being driven by 50-year-old Mark Schouviller.

Bauman was taken to a hospital in Red Wing before being airlifted to Regions Hospital in St. Paul where he was pronounced dead.

Schouviller was not injured.

The accident happened near the intersection of 825th Street and Highway 63 in the Pierce County Islands State Public Hunting Grounds.

Trenton Township is located north of Red Wing across the Minnesota-Wisconsin border.
