HUDSON, Wis. -- From now until Tuesday volunteers all over Wisconsin will pour through one million signatures collected to recall Governor Scott Walker.
Jesse Garza, chair of the St. Croix County Republican Party, said volunteers have already gone through 1,000 pages of signatures and expect to complete another 3,000 by the end of the weekend.
Garza said they are finding a number of invalid signatures and that number could sky rocket as they work their way through more.
But Democrats aren't backing down. Graeme Zielniski with the Democratic party of Wisconsin said the GOP can have a million centers counting errors but the recall will continue.
"You're not going to stop the recall," he said.
Despite vocal support of the recall a new poll shows more than half of Wisconsin voters approve of the job Walker is doing.
