RICHFIELD, Minn. - A 23-year-old man has been charged in connection with an attack that killed one man and wounded another woman.
Leon Henry Anderson of Minneapolis was charged Wednesday in Hennepin County with one count of first degree murder and one count attempted first degree murder from an incident police believe happened on February 28.
Webb's wife told police she and her husband Anderson, saying he had done some odd jobs for the couple.
Richfield police were called to a house on March 2 and found the deceased body of Richard Webb, 79. Webb's wife was found with a cut throat. Police believe the attack happened three days earlier.
Anderson is in custody. The Hennepin County attorney's office is seeking $1 million bail.
