Moundsview, Minn. - Authorities have identified the man killed in a single car crash on Highway 10 in Moundsview Sunday.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 29-year-old Jacob Rhode of Big Lake died when his Ford Explorer veered out of the left westbound lane of Highway 10 near 85th Avenue shortly after 8 p.m., then over-corrected, rolling several times before landing in the right ditch.

Rhode was pronounced dead at the scene. His 3-year-old son suffered non-life threatening injuries and was rushed to Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids for treatment.

The westbound lanes of Highway 10 were closed for nearly two hours while authorities cleared the scene and investigated the crash.
