Authorities investigate Minneapolis bank robbery

MINNEAPOLIS - Authorities are searching for a man accused of a robbing the TCF Bank location on West Lake Street in Minneapolis on Wednesday evening, according to FBI officials.

The incident occurred at about 4:45 p.m. at 1444 West Lake Street.

The robber approached a bank teller and demanded cash, authorities said. They said that no weapon was displayed. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled from the bank.

The robber is described as a white man, about 40 to 45 years old, about 6 feet tall and about 170 to 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white or cream colored short-sleeved shirt, jeans and a dark-colored baseball cap.
