EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - A happy Percy Harvin is making for a surprisingly successful start to the Minnesota Vikings season.
Harvin leads the NFL in receptions and has turned into an indispensable piece of Minnesota's offense and special teams. He has also gained the respect of the locker room, with linebacker Chad Greenway calling Harvin "the best player in the NFL right now."
Harvin credits offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave with putting him in the right positions to be effective and says he is elated with how the offense is coming together. It's a big improvement from this summer, when Harvin requested a trade.
The Vikings are 2-1 and coming off an upset win over San Francisco. They travel to Detroit on Sunday.
