Minneapolis - Police are asking the public to help them find a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run this weekend.

According to police, they were called to the scene of a hit-and-run accident at 3rd Street North and First Avenue in Minneapolis around 2:40 a.m. Saturday.  Police say that when they arrived, they found a 20-year-old man had been struck by a vehicle travelling west on 3rd Street.

The victim was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center in critical condition, where he later died from his injuries.

Police say they currently do not have anyone in custody.  They describe the suspect's vehicle as a dark-colored four-door sedan, possibly a Chevy Lumina, with front end damage.
