MINNEAPOLIS - A downtown Minneapolis restaurant and nightclub is holding a memorial event for an employee who died in a recent hit-and-run incident.

Family and friends are mourning the loss of 20-year-old Austin Conley. He was a freshman at Augsburg College who lived on campus and was majoring in business management. Conley was a working student who held a job at the Seven Sushi Ultralounge and Skybar.

Conley was hit about 3 a.m. Saturday, October 27, in downtown Minneapolis.

On Thursday, employees at the Seven Sushi Ultralounge will hold a memorial for Austin Conley from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.

A $5 donation at the door will help with his funeral expenses.

Conley's family has set up the "Austin Conley Memorial Fund" at Wells Fargo.

Donations will sponsor an aspiring student through college.
The event is open to the public.

Meanwhile, a 27-year-old woman has been charged in the hit-and-run case. Teisha Yovonne Randle faces two counts of criminal vehicular homicide.
