ST. PAUL, Minn. - Three people were taken to the hospital after a one-car crash in St. Paul on Friday afternoon.
Police said that two cars traveling eastbound on Minnehaha Avenue from Kennard Street were traveling at a high rate of speed.
A car with three occupants lost control and one person ejected. All three people in that car were taken to Regions Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the second car was pulled over. He was not injured, but was taken to Regions for blood draw. He was arrested on a charge of probable cause criminal vehicular operation, police said.
The other driver will be taken into custody and booked for probable cause criminal vehicular operation after being treated, police said.
Investigators say that they are not classifying the incident as a drag racing at this point, but the investigation remains open.
They said they are talking to witnesses in an effort to determine the speed of vehicles.
