KUSA - Lindsey Vonn is back working out, and Tuesday sent a message to her fans via Twitter that she is back in the weight room testing her right knee.
Vonn, who crashed Nov. 19 training at Copper Mountain, is recovering from her latest setback. She had reconstructive surgery in February after injuring her knee in a major crash at the world championships.
She posted on Twitter: "Working hard in therapy today. Making progress! #IWILL #sochi2014 #workinghard"
On Facebook, Vonn added: Would have loved to be up at Beaver Creek Mountain for the downhill training run today but instead I'm working hard in therapy. Things are going well!
Vonn is looking to defend her Olympic title in the downhill when the 2014 Games start in February in Russia.
In last week's crash, Vonn sustained a partial tear to her ACL and was taken to Vail, which is where she lives and had her February surgery.
