GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- Die-hard Vikings fan Todd Glocke had such a fun ride cheering his team onto the NFC Championship game last year, he's decided to take another ride. This one, all the way to Hattiesburg, Mississippi to thank quarterback Brett Favre for such a great season.
The Plymouth resident, and his three friends decided to make the pigskin pilgrimage, and are aptly naming their trek, 4 Days 4 Favre.
They left Tuesday morning, and hope to be in Mississippi by Wednesday night.
Their goal isn't to plead to Favre to come back and play for the Vikings next season, but rather, deliver a thank you card to Favre's charity foundation offices, and if by chance they run into the elusive QB somewhere along the line, all the better.
Glocke will be riding a Suzuki Volusia, decked in purple and gold. His bike is the same one that Vikings mascot Ragnar rides onto Mall of America field on every home game.
Glocke will be writing updates along the way on his website.
