MINNEAPOLIS - We topped out again Tuesday above 90 degrees that makes for 31 days exceeding that threshold.

The normal number of days in a year to reach at least 90 degrees is 13.

This year we have a three-way tie for the seventh most number of 90 degree high temperatures.

The record number of 90 degree days in a year for the Twin Cities was 44 during the memorable summer of 1988.

The 30 days of 90 degrees or above is the most in the Twin Cities since 1988.

Thank you to Climatologist Pete Boulay for this updated information.
